Blacktown City Festival Parade

The Blacktown City Festival Street Parade will be held on Saturday 30th May 2009. The theme of the festival is celebrating International Year of Astronomy.

The Street Parade is one of the largest and most colourful in Western Sydney, it is a great way to promote your message to a crowd of thousands.

All groups are encoraged to get involved:

  • Community group
  • Church
  • Youth Group
  • Sporting organisation
  • Local business

Parade Design Seminar

Need help turning your ideas into action, or just would like some inspiration for your Parade entry?

This seminar will provide you with the knowledge on ways to create an innovative parade entry within your budget. The seminar will be hosted by internationally acclaimed Circus Solarus.

When: Wednesday 29th April 2009
Time: 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Where: Level 1, Max Webber Function Room
Max Webber Library, Cnr Alpha St & Flushcombe Rd, Blacktown
Cost: Free, however bookings are essential.
